As the Vanguard Community prepares for the start of the new academic year, the library is pleased to announce the addition of our new Faculty Librarian, Dr. Stephen Moore.
Although new to this role, Stephen is no stranger to Vanguard University. He spent nine years working in the Registrar’s Office, where he contributed significantly to several key initiatives, including the transition to our current Student Services software and chairing the committee on FERPA compliance. In addition to his administrative work, Stephen has been teaching courses in history at Vanguard since 2012.
Stephen holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Riverside, where his dissertation, titled “Modern Folk,” involved extensive archival research across four states and the United Kingdom. Through this work, he developed a strong foundation in both archival practices and Public History
We are excited to welcome Stephen into this new role, where he will draw on his diverse experience to support our patrons’ research and help further develop the library’s archives!
