Dr. Macchia holds the Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary (New York) and the Doctor of Theology (D.Theol.) from the University of Basel, Switzerland.  He teaches courses in Theology and Church History in both the graduate and undergraduate programs in the Religion Department at Vanguard University.  He is a prolific writer and frequent lecturer traveling as a guest speaker to a wide spectrum of venues.
