Dr. Tyra teaches various theology courses in Vanguard University's traditional programs (undergrad and grad) and in its School for Professional Studies. These courses all aim to help students experience growth toward spiritual, moral, and ministry maturity. Dr. Tyra has a D. Min. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He is a prolific writer/author and has spent over three decades providing pastoral leadership for three congregations.
