Rodolfo Galvan Estrada III is the Miranda Center Assistant Professor of the New Testament at Vanguard University. He has a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Regent University, holds two master’s degrees from Duke University, and a bachelor's from Vanguard University.  He has served as an adjunct professor at various colleges and seminaries including Fuller Theological Seminary, Portland Seminary of George Fox University, and Northwest University.  He has served many years in Christian higher education administration. At Fuller Theological Seminary, he served as the Director of Institutional Research and Director of Accreditation. He also served as the Dean of Academic Affairs and Accreditation Liaison officer of LABI College.  Most recently, Rudy has been recently appointed as the SBL Pacific Coast Region program chair for the New Testament Gospels and Acts.  Married to his wife Jessica Estrada for over 18 years, they together enjoy tea, coffee, hiking, and camping. They reside in Fontana, California with their 4-year old foster daughter.
