This resource gives guidance on how to copy your 8/2 live session Template Course into another shell and then change that course into an 8/1 course.

Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Choose your template course

Step 2: Go to Settings [1] and select Copy this Course [2]

Step 3: Choose All Content [1] and click on Create Course [2]

Step 4: Once it’s done processing, click on the course you just copied

Step 5: Go to the Modules page and scroll to Module 1 (Insert dates here – Monday to Sunday)

Adjustments are made within the main modules. Note the 2 live activities at 12.5 points each. You will combine the points and hours into one live session.

Step 6: Click on Live Session 2 [2]. Copy the information there and go to Live Session 1 [1]

• Click on the Edit button and paste the information there. You will need to change the title and adjust the hours and points.

 Step 7: Go back to Live Session 2 and click on the snowman dots [1] and choose Remove [2]

Step 8: Go to Assignments and delete Live Session 2

Note: As an option, if you wanted just one session that is 1.25 hours per week, you could completely delete Live Session 2 from the Modules and Assignments pages. But be sure to add the 1.25 hours somewhere else.
