Associate Professor, Liberal Studies
Alex Lin has over a decade of public school teaching experience teaching English in Japan to children and adults, and then World History in various California public schools. He received his Ph.D. in Education Policy and Social Context at UC, Irvine, which then lead to two postdoctoral research positions: UC Irvine and Arizona State University. His research has focused on several aspects of education and youth development, more broadly, which can be found in several first-authored papers in notable peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Adolescent Research, Applied Developmental Science, and Urban Education.
